Leaf symptoms

Leaf spots

A spot is a clue, not a diagnosis.

Spots may come from physical injury, sun scorch, cold, pests, edema, nutrient imbalance, or fungal and bacterial disease. Consider how the pattern began and whether it is spreading.

First response

Isolate the plant if infection or pests are possible. Keep foliage dry, improve airflow without chilling the plant, remove heavily affected fallen material, and avoid applying treatments until the cause is reasonably supported.
